Like banshee the shadow apparitions shrieked with delight as the darkness was pushed back. The surged forward for a brief second before the whole of them shimmered and melted into the shadows Lasius had created. The lightning surged over them and it Daegan groaned, the dark energy flowing over his element. It wouldn’t be nearly as painful as what Lasius was sure to feel, but it certainly wasn’t a pleasant experience by any stretch of the imagination. Tiny pin points of Soul Fire flickered into existence across the walls of the temple as Sitherack reached for the Arc of Light.
Then they seemed to shift suddenly as the shadows burst forwards, millions of tendrils lashing out at the Sage of Darkness. As they rushed forward, Daegan’s form suddenly appeared at what seemed to be the epicenter of the attack, his arms snapping forward and twisting in some sort of bizarre motion as the points of Soul Fire winked out. For only a moment as they too surged forward much like the shadows had, tiny flames dancing along the millions of shadow tendrils.
It was only a means of diversion as Daegan’s form faded into nothingness once more. A second later his body had reformed, the air around him shimmering as he rushed forward with the attacking shadows, a small black orb visible in the hand opposite the Arc of Shadows. The Soul Fire laced shadows seemed to carry the force of what should have been his impact, but Daegan did not touch the Sage, his hand blistering severely as he held the Light within the orb.
He closed his eyes as he forced the last of the energy he had attained outward. His mind flashed with all the thoughts of darkness he could muster, hundreds of them winking in and out of his mind’s eye. Daegan roared silently as his eyes flashed open again, reaching out with the hand that bore the orb to attempt to part the darkness armor Sitherack bore, using the connection with the Rod of Souls to its depletion.
Daegan fought to ignore the intense agony he was feeling; using the last motion he could with his hand to crush the orb. He forced his body from the shadow as the assailing torrent of tendrils howled in disgust. Daegan screamed out from the sudden impact of fire. If he was successful in parting the darkness armor, the orb would have detonated almost directly inside the Sage of Darkness. His clothing singed to nothing almost immediately as his pale skin cracked and oozed, the intense heat and sudden lack of shadows threatening to completely strip him from consciousness.

The Existence Cage collapsing in on itself only added to the pressure, but the pressure wasn't really the problem for her, as the Water filled the shell, the Light that refracted from that wretched Avian scattered her form almost immediately, the cage shattered with her dispersal and the Water was released across the battle field. It sprayed in all directions, massive geysers expanding outward and covering the ground of the valley in several inches of water almost instantly. The Water continued to burst outwards as long as Ishmael willed it too eventually stopping the spray and crashing down across everything including the temple in massive heavy waves.
The Obsidian Lightning crackling across the interior and exterior of the Temple of Darkness raged as the water began to fill the valley. As soon as several inches had covered the floor the Lightning began to strike it, and the deadly obsidian corruption that had originally been localized to the Temple itself now ran rampant along the floor of the valley, anything standing in the water would catch the full current of the corrupted Lightning fed from the Arc itself.
As well the continual strikes from the Death laced Lightning birthed from the storm above struck the water, each pulse of death laced energy racing outward and causing small explosions when it intermingled with the corrupted Lightning. The Chain reaction caused the energy to spin out of control, till the water itself was glowing and crackling across the surface, some areas with black corruption, others with neon green death laced electricity. Either could kill, but the death laced would rip the soul clean from the body.
The Water would also eventually begin to fill the Temple, there was only one entrance, but no door, so whilst the water was forced into a funnel to enter the temple it only briefly slowed the inevitable, and with the Arc of Lightning jammed into the wall of the Temple the corrupted Lightning would instantly kill anything inside once the water began to cover the floor. The Pirates fury had in effect become a dark tide of death and corruption.
The Darkness was nearly complete, dark powers were almost infinite at this point, no sooner had the dark form of the Malkate clone scattered from the existence cage than Darkness seemed to seep out of the well, it gathered and piled on itself in an instant, the clone pulling herself back together just as the Light subsided from Daegan's attack did she take shape, and in that instant she struck, her arm lashing outward, solidifying in that instant that the shadows took to race back to their master as the light died, the darkness of her arm manifested into a razor sharp spear slicing forward directly to pierce Daegan through the left heart.
Even before that strike was completed she was spinning in the Direction of Lasius her eyes hardening for the kill on the wounded former God of the Sedi.

The looks she received from the wily pirate captain was all she needed to know that something completely unpredictable was about to happen. Battle was always unpredictable, but you throw pirates with godly weapons into the mix and it was best to err on the side of caution. She embraced Air and threw her arms out to either side as though bracing against the solidified air sphere around her body. It wasn't long before the water had surrounded her small bubble of Air, and pressed on it with pressure unimaginable, and then abruptly that pressure was gone. She was so focused on maintaining the Air shield that the scattering of the Malkate Clone had passed unnoticed. She was about to release the Shield when her eyes caught sight of the crackling electrified Temple.
She gasped as more water rushed forth, and crashed out across the valley. She called out not knowing if Ishmael could hear her or not but having to say something in the chaotic madness. “You must Stop you'll Kill us all!” the Air shield couldn't keep the water away forever, and with the crackling blaze of electrical current arcing all around her she was essentially lost in a sea of potential oblivion.
She had absolutely no time whatsoever to think there was only time for reaction. Retreat was not an option, running now would gain them nothing, Darkness would fall completely, and they wouldn't even have what chance existed here now. The Pillar of Darkness loomed over the seething and crashing shallow sea of death and corruption was imposing, her pale green eyes took in the raging chaos around her.
Lightning Licked up the sides of her Air Shield, waves of Death and Corruption bashed against it and her strength began to fade, slowly but surely the shield shrank in size, soon she would have to release it and the waves would pull her under. Her mind raced, there had to be something.. She forced more power into the Air shield, it flickered and expanded about half a foot but then began immediately to shrink again, Air was simply not as dense as water, she couldn't maintain this much longer.
Recklessly, because of the speed necessary she grasped at the Magick side of her soul, just inside the rapidly shrinking sphere of Air she wove a circular portal, opening in a ring around her, but leaving the center solid earth. She released the Air shield and watched as the deadly vile water rushed into the circular moat like portal. She had opened the other end of the Portal above the eastern Desert, where little or nothing lived anyway in hopes of avoiding some kind of cataclysm.
She stood on a tiny Island in the middle of a horrific ghastly sea, the death laced Lightning had created a mirror of the Souls of all who had died and bound tot he Arc of Death and their faces were visible in the crashing waves around her. The water continuously drained down the magic portal around her trapping her there, but keeping her safe for now. It would take days however for all the water to drain from such a tiny opening as she was able to manage with her remaining power.

The air was wild wit her and she was racing in her element by her own right; the currents pushing torrid winds around her as the arc of Lightning embedded itself within the wall. Eye’s closing Wynne pulled the currents tighter around her, swirling in a circular pattern as it pushed away the rain away from her and arched the lightning away from her body like a shield. Her eyes when they reopened were almost white completely as if the blue had faded as her element filled her and she saw as the wind sees, a constant flicker that could speed across the land or float lazily; that could rage or slowly caress like a lover. She saw the flood of water coming towards her and the wind repelled it – but her eyes went to the small woman who barely protected herself. The Dark haired Sedi seemed well enough on her own, and the pale pirate was nowhere to be seen; as well as her Father and Sitherack and her Uncle headed into the temple.
Turning her attentions down she felt into the air waves like a weaver to the loom, and as she pulled at the currents she started to form the protective bubble around the woman similar to her own, the rushing air would shove back at the water keeping it away from the woman’s scarred form, and lift her up away from the ground enough that she’d not be touching where the water forcefully fed it’s way through. Turning her pale eyes up to the sky, she channeled the element as the forceful winds fought and moved with a natural call to them, pushing and tearing at the water as the light shimmered across the dangerous waters; she’d no misconceptions about trying to land at this point it would be an instant death. Though as the energy gathered in her started to become almost uncomfortable to hold, she glanced up towards the thick clouds overhead.
The air started to swirl but she frowned as nothing happened and the pressure she exerted simply seem to push back down on her. Turning towards the other woman she ignored the Dark Haired Mage moving simply towards the opening of the Cavern as she moved to Lomes’ side, blonde hair that was braided to her head shifting in the tunnels of wind as she concentrated her element around the woman and herself; for there was little else she could do right now until she knew that her Father needed her.

His head snapped up at Sitherack's words, he watched in confusion as the Arc of Lightning impacted the Wall, the obsidian bolts racing up the all to him reflected the horror at what was happening in his eyes. He immediately embraced the lightning Magic inside him, use it to enhance his reflexes, but even as he did the Obsidian bolts connected with his left arm where it was pressed against the wall, the muscles involuntarily tightened against the current of power. He couldn't drop his arm, and he could feel it racing into his body. This was one race he couldn't afford to lose no matter the cost.
In a blur of sudden motion he brought the Arc of Death down savagely severing his own left arm at the Elbow. The shock of it hit him worse than the pain at first. He toppled away from the wall, blood spraying from the gaping wound of the severed limb. The Arc of Death fell numbly from the fingers of his right hand and clattered to the floor. He squeezed his eyes shut against the pain, unable to block it out completely but able to control it enough maintain consciousness. Just then an enormous roaring surge filled his ears, His head whipped around in time to see a massive wave rushing down the hallway towards them.
Action conquered thought as he surged to his feet throwing his body through the Air he twisted mid flight and grabbed the Corrupted Arc of Lightning ripping it from its place in the Wall. No sooner had the blade cleared the wall than the Obsidian Lightning halted, he crashed into the ground skidding across the floor and slamming harshly into the wall opposite the Darkness well, leaving a slick red streak across the floor from blood spray. The world spun as he began to feel colder, he was almost bled out, he knew this feeling all too well, but if he was going to die his death would have some meaning.
He dropped the Worthless Arc of Lightning to the floor as water began to fill the chamber, rapidly. He could see the Malkate clone striking forward at Daegan, his vision blurred, consciousness fading. His Death would have meaning... meaning. Light surged through his and his hand rose seemingly of its own accord, Light blasted forth scattering the form of the Malkate clone as it impacted her clean in the back of the head. He slumped to the side water welling up around his chest where he sat slumped against the wall.
It was getting harder to hear, everything sounded like it was a mere faded echo of its actual sound. Laughter that was what he heard, someone laughing, what could be funny at a time like this, it was only then he realized it was him laughing, laughing at his own death, the way a true Sedi would, it only made him laugh harder.
“Thats another one you owe me Daegan... Finish it.”
His hand fell with a splash into the blood soaked water around him, a smirk curled on his lips as his eyes slid shut. As his hearts slowed he lost his grip on the Storm outside, it dissipated and cleared up within seconds, the lightning no longer falling, rains stopping and boiling clouds drifting away to reveal the tiniest imaginable sliver of moonlight left in the world.

Pain exploded as Daegan thrust the glimmervoid into him and crushed it. He spun towards Daegan reaching out to grapple the man but the light had already scattered most of his body. He had no arms to reach for Daegan with, half his face was gone, great gaping holes in his chest were visible, and he had no left leg, His remaining eye locked hatefully with Daegan's eyes as he toppled backwards, he collapsed into the Darkness well without a sound, the surface of the ink like well didn't even seem disturbed by his entry.
The Last of the light finally died out, and the Obsidian pillar rising into the sky above the Temple of Darkness became just another part of the utter darkness of the Void. Pain like he had never known washed over his body, what was left of it anyway, without the Darkness Armor he was naked to the pain of hissing pieces, and his life was receding from him rapidly. But he would be damned if he let that half breed of a Sage defeat him.
He embraced the Arc of Fire with his Soul, and forced all of its energy directly into the Temple around him, causing the walls to heat slag and melt, the floor super heated, the ceiling melted dripping molten rock down on those inside. The water covering the floor flash boiled into steam, the Air turned to Fire, the ground around the temple melted and became a pool of churning and boiling molten earth. Darkness covered the World, if only for an instant, Sitherack's powers were absolute.
Too late though, he had no hearts left to beat no blood left to course through non existent veins. He was doomed, and though Darkness covered the world it was not Empty, the Void had not been successfully returned, he didn't have the strength left to end it. The Sage howled inside him, It was so close, but the body it was trapped in was tapped out and dying. As Sitherack's power failed, the Darkness Well began to dissipate, the Pillar of Obsidian night vanished.
Finally after about a minute of intense fiery devastation the last of his life gave out. The Arc of Fire went cold, and the half melted Temple of Darkness stood like some twisted art piece in the midst of the seething lake that now filled the valley. Everything was Silent for a second. Then Light a thousand banshees Darkness rose upwards from the now empty well that housed Sitherack's broken and devastated corpse.
Like a shade of death it shrieked and rushed forth through the night it. Rising high into the darkness it surveyed those below, and like a black arrow it flashed downward slamming full into the Chest of Malkate's new body. It would feel like being doused in ice cold water, chilling her to the core, from then on she would feel the Sage of Darkness like a cancer in her mind sitting waiting and watching through her eyes, a terrible power burning in her begging to be tapped, promising power untold, What Sitherack wielded was but a trifle it conveyed to her through feelings. With her it could do more. It waited for her mind to weaken, everyones did eventually.

The insane laughter bumbled from his seared throat, dropping to his knees. The intense burning sensation didn’t really even affect him anymore, and in truth he hadn’t known Sitherack’s form had fallen away and the heat from the Arc of Fire had ceased. Even as the shadows rushed back to his form after Lasius had dispersed the clone did Daegan realize anything. His body was black and destroyed from the force of Sitherack’s armor and he was barely hanging onto life. But still the laughter flowed.
He didn’t even cringe as he face planted into the edge of the Darkness Well, teeth shattering upon impact as his forehead split wide open. Blood gushed outwards to spatter the floor as with Daegan’s last ounce of strength he rolled himself over, his laughter becoming faint and altogether halting.
“Twelve have been taken, twelve have had Vengeance… there… must… be… Or…”
The Soul Fire in the Temple suddenly winked out of existence as the shadows immediately snapped back to their original anchors, hollowing in a way that could only be described as mourning. Even as they returned to the stationary position they shrieked, Daegan’s cooked chest rising and falling one last time. He laid there, still and calm with an amused looked spread over his face. A twisted laugh etched into his burnt face.
The Arc of Shadows clattered loudly to the floor the Temple of Darkness, falling from the charred hand of Daegan as he lay still upon the floor. The shadows dare not approach, no longer feeling the call from their master. Even the Sage within seemed silent, confused and stunned at the events that had just happened, hoping against hope that some miracle would occur.
But still he laid silent and motionless, head slightly hanging over the edge of the now empty Well. The Arc of Shadows lay carelessly at his side, as if it had been tossed aside with reckless abandon. His chest was still. The shadows screamed in horror, desperately trying to move towards the fallen Sage. But they couldn’t break free and instead screamed and wailed their frustration and sorrow before slowly becoming silent.
The blackened and charred form of Daegan lying next to the Arc of Shadows was all that remained.

For the first time in what seemed to be centuries the Captain screamed out in agony. It was as if he pleaded for submission as the existence cage shattered suddenly, his essence exploding outwards to cover the darkened lands. Deadly lightning smashed down into his element as he desperately tried to stave it off, but it was to no avail. Almost instantaneously the dark energy had overtaken him and suddenly his body faded back into existence.
His crude clothing was soaked fully and he was face down in the mud and grit created from the sudden shallow lake that had been created. The lapping waves made his clothing and hair sway, his limbs following the currents of the water as he lay motionless within it. It surged over his body and even as the wicked carnage raged above and before him, he was oblivious too it.
The Arc of Water now stuck upright and at an angle in close proximity to the pirate’s body, tines implanted firmly into the soft landscape around the Darkness Temple. The Captain’s body began to move towards it, and it began to act as a sort of anchor, holding his body against the ebbing current and preventing it from moving farther away.
He lay still and calm splayed in the rushing water and mud that had been formed, completely ignorant to the falling of the Sage of Darkness and the passing off the entity. He did not know the fate of Lomes, nor the death of Daegan; and instead followed the Sage into the other world.
But if his body was to be pulled from the mud and his face examined, an almost proud smirk was painted across his mouth. Defiance was shown in his brow and determination in his clenched jaw. The Captain was prepared for what had happened and accepted his fate long before thinking of death-laced lightning. He welcomed death before the potential of corrupted lightning surging through his deceased body crossed his mind. He was at peace.

The winds were howling; the storm soaked through her and yet she watched as halpess seconds went by where she was completely useless. Lasius whom moved in with Daegan cornering Sitherack within the large temple; the Avian and pirate whom flooded the existence cage even as the energy she gathered collected within her. Her large feathered wings beat to keep her propelled upwards as she felt Las push off the spell and her eyebrow arched, but she was soon distracted with the flashes of lightning that were moving towards the water that had spilled and poured out of the cage that had been built. Focusing her will Malkate let the energies feed through the staff as she learned how to channel through her new body. Black hair was clinging to her as well as the dress was almost useless as it clung to her like a secondary skin, hugging all of the new toned curves that came with the warrior’s body, an annoyance as the lack of light produced a cold to her all to sensitive skin.
A soft snarl erupted from her lips as her energy flickered, and she tried to gather in, the idea of blowing Sitherack’s infernal Darkness back to a primary age took her; but it wouldn’t be long as the attacks within the Temple that could possibly stretch like years for those inside had passed in mere moments; she had time to hear Lasius’ dying cackle before light erupted through the Darkness, and the temple started collapsing from the heat within. Malkate screamed out, surprised as her body started moving towards the ruining temple but she wasn’t fast enough, the heat caused her to recoil back, her hands moving up to her face as frustrated sounds escaped from her throat, her wings carrying her back on the winds as the storm started to die out. She knew what it meant and even knowing the possibility of another life was there tears welled in her violet eyes. However, even though Lasius she felt was dead, she knew too that Sitherack no longer lived.
Her wings folded and she moved to land in the now safe waters, but even as her feet started nearing the ground something hard and dark screaming like death slammed into her chest, the cold making her grasp where her hearts would be, air catching in her throat as the spell dissolved and her minds eye winked out and she fell into the water, taking a good mouthful before she tried to stand, disoriented and hurting she felt the new presence, the Darkness there; that infernal Darkness that had corrupted her before and controlled her – the same mannerisms of being puppeteer channeled through her mind and sheer rage kept the nagging at bay for the first few seconds. Though the power was there, she laughed mentally – she had little use for power these days. She’d been nearly a god and bored of it… but her mind was new and thus strong to it’s persuasion; but even in the back of the mind there came that whispering of what possibilities could be unleashed.
Of course with all things came more; the rush of memories the massiveness of lives that were not her own filled her intelligence and as if accessing some file she could pull it up. She could feel the knowledge of Sitherack, his life, what caused him to break and sympathy was something she could not afford for that pathetic man; for he chose his own path even the breaking was his choice. Of course truth could be said that she had no idea that the pressure of the Sage would forever be apart of her until true Death, and that her mind could possibly even she could fall to it’s whims didn’t cross her mind as the thought that she could fight this entity that was now who she was; that it was now apart of her as the air that gasped into her lungs as she tried to stand.
The pressure was overwhelming, if not from the cold that settled into her bones from the water and the lack of light; even that sliver of moonlight. Her head throbbed painfully from the cold that bit at her both inside and out, and she snarled as she felt her body shivering, trying to pick itself up but it was usless. It was as if being made of lead and trying to push against a current so you wouldn’t fall off. The energy she’d gathered left her as abruptly as it was called to her leaving her feel hallow, hurting, and drained. She didn’t even try and retrieve the Arcs; the knowledge that the heat still simmered off the stones even though the Arc of Fire wasn’t fed and that Lasius was dead broke her hearts. She turned her head, violet eyes barely open to stare at Lomes with a silent pleading before her body started to slump forward into the water.
I will never give into you...

She sank down releasing the magic ability within her as Wynne landed and kept the deadly waters at bay. The Portal ring shrunk and thinned vanishing in on itself as she closed her eyes resting for a brief moment. She whispered to Wynne as the Light faded from her skin, and Life energy poured forth into her from the Arc wiping away exhaustion of body and mind, but not of Soul. “Thank you, I owe you one little Sedi.”
Her head rose to the sky slowly as the boiling clouds dissipated and the lightning stopped falling. She knew the meaning of this, Lasius had died. She could feel the release of the Sage of Light, it didn't manifest, it was aware she was still alive. And as long as that was the case its vessel would return. She reached out her hand moving unconsciously to brush through Lasius' Soul as it passed invisibly by on its way to the afterlife. She caught it and pulled it inside her, a small flicker of Lightning flashing across her eyes as she merged with the Lightning Childe. No one else would really see anything besides her acting strangely, reaching out at nothing apparently and touching her hand back to her chest.
She turned towards the Temple her eyes narrowing slightly then widening as the temple began to glow and burn, melting in on itself like some kind of deformed candle. Pain raced through her heart, she knew full well Daegan was in there. Then abruptly the Darkness lessened, she closed her eyes briefly as a smile lit her face. The Sage of Shadows had prevailed, it might cost him his life but the world and the Sedi were safe once more. She opened her eyes once more focusing slightly, She could feel his soul drifting along the same path Lasius had taken, and she reached out and plucked it as well, touching it to her chest and absorbing him as well.
Even with the lightning flickering in her eyes dimly and almost barely existent, soul fire burned now around the pale green iris's. As she slowly rose to her feet the Essence of the Sage of Darkness blistered across the churning surface of the water and slammed into Malkate. Lomes eye's widened and she half took a step forward but already knew there was nothing to be done about it. The Sage must continue to exist. She was certain that Malkate would be strong enough to handle it. Her eyes fell onto the fallen form of the Captain as well. Crazy pirate she laughed softly and waited for his Soul to pass as well, pulling it inside her. He had earned redemption even if in a rather unconventional way. As she pulled his soul inside her the pale green eyes burning with soul fire and flickering with lightning now drained of their color.
She could hear them, feel them inside her, she fell backward and lay staring at the sky as the stars sparkled back into view one by one. She focused on them as she retreated into the depths of her soul, her presence confronting the three dead.
~Sitherack has perished, unfortunately of course so have all of you, I'm sorry to say that your bodies are not salvageable Lasius and Daegan, but no matter I can recreate you. Ishmael I can return you to your body whenever you choose... But for future reference, Lightning and water don't mix my Salty friend.~

If he could have, the pirate would have raised his eyebrows. He was confused. Utterly confused. The last thing he remembered was the wicked impact of electricity, like being smacked full-force with some sort of obliterating hurricane. And then nothingness. Only the blackness that he had thought to be the Locker. Where he thought he had finally been banished to the Abyss to spend the rest of time.
“This… isn’t the locker…”
His voice echoed as if he were in some sort of canyon and a sort of panic overtook him. But just as soon as the twinge of terror spread through him it was gone again, and at last he saw his body floating lifelessly next to the Arc of Water. The confusion once more washed over him and he simply was silent, attempting to figure out everything that had happened. He could hear Lomes and see his body. He could see his body.
“What in the name of the Depths…”
The pirate couldn’t place everything together in his mind. Or what was left of it at any rate. He rolled everything over and over and finally, with frustration at its peak he – if he was still in his body at least – grimaced and tossed it all aside. He couldn’t understand it and now he didn’t really want to. The simple fact remained was that apparently Sitherack was defeated and Lomes had somehow plucked his very being from disappearing into nothingness.
“Bah… I wasn’t the one throwing lightning bolts all over the jitatin place. I need some rum…”

It was a sensation he was somewhat familiar with as the Sage lingered above his cooked body. If he could have, he would have smirked as his Soul drifted through the ether, following along with the slain Soul of Lasius. The spirit laughed even as tiny tendrils of shadows reached out at seemingly nothing, almost begging to be called upon. Wishing for some sort of reassurance. Still, Daegan didn’t care. He had his Vengeance. His daughters had their Vengeance. The whole of the Sedian Nation had been saved and the twisted being of Sitherack was finally destroyed.
In truth, Daegan would have been half content to just pass into oblivion. He had served his purpose and saved the Sedi. But there was still a lingering sort of fear as to what would happen if he were to pass. The Sage of Shadows would be passed and he could only imagine who the essence would move too. None assembled on the field of battle deserved that Fate, and it was with that iron resolve that he was happy to hear his lover.
“It wouldn’t be any fun if we all survived anyway. That’s just never in the cards for us.”
There was more echoing laughter as the three pooled within Lomes; within the very Rod of Souls. He could now see the devastation that had occurred outside of the Temple, and was relieved that Wynne was still – as near as he could tell – alive. He would smirk at the pirate if he could; now having a better idea as to what it meant to trifle with such a creature. Resourceful to the last, even if it meant certain destruction.
Still he laughed, feeling as though he was suspended in some sort of fluid as his Soul twisted inside Lomes. He knew what would eventually be approaching. And, deep down, it was something that he was not looking forward too. Total peace never suited him. It couldn’t. He was, in essence, of both light and darkness and had a driving desire both for purity and destruction. Daegan wanted his people to be safe and happy, of course, but he still desired conquest. He needed a foe to focus his rage and fury upon.
But that was a concern for another time. First and foremost the Sedi must rebuild, another process he was not looking forward too. Thoughts of raising the whole of the undead flashed through his mind as he felt the infernal twinge of nether energy still infesting his being. Even in death he was cursed for his Necromantic ways. Another thing that would have to be dealt with later.
For now, however, he was at peace. The amusement and laughter would not leave him. Half-breed Sage indeed.

It was odd, to think he had created this vastly powerful creature, and had done so with such little effort in godhood, yet here the essence of all that he was floated safely cradled within the Lomes protective embrace. The battle was over, finally the Sedi were safe, the survival of the race while not ensured had been given a fighting chance, which was all that Sedi needed. He was satisfied with the outcome, even before Lomes' words echoed through his soul. It was true of course, he gave a brief thought to actually passing on, putting it all behind him, but the thought of Malkate continuing on in this world alone hurt like physical pain.
He listened to the echoing thoughts of Daegan and Ishmael, everything was open in this place, nothing held back he laughed and waited silently as Daegan and Ish reacted in their own ways to death. His amusement was mostly from the Pirate, he found it interesting to view death from a fresh perspective the way the Captain was, of course the man had probably never been dead before. Most people hadn't this constant yo yo snap between existence was reserved only for those special souls. Sometimes he wondered if that special was attributed to special ed, after all wasn't the definition of insanity doing the same thing over and over and anticipating different results?
Gods the randomness, here he could relish in it, in the pure and utter chaotic thought and essence of his element, there was nothing needed to be held back of controlled here. His thoughts slid to Sethia and the rebuilding of society that was needed there, just as quickly he was thinking of Malkate in that rain soaked black dress winking new violet eyes at him, the next he was worrying about the next Sage of the Dark who would try to kill him, when? Tomorrow? Maybe next week.
”Dammit I need a vacation”
He thought about his body shattered and burned beyond recognition in the temple, or what was left of it. All those Arcs in there so much power, better if he could find a way to destroy them, but not even the Gods could do such things. Damn Sitherack for corrupting his Arcs, it would take untold effort to bring them back to normal, why did he always have too...
ENOUGH! Dammit Lasius you are giving me a Headache!
The resounding though completely scattered his own thoughts startling him, his attention finally coming to focus on Lomes as her presence infiltrated his own, picking thoughts from his head until she had retrieved his own mental image of how he looked. Then her presence was gone.
With the retreat of her presence his thoughts resumed their random chaotic disorder. Women, all women were the same whether you made them or found them they all needed order, some kind of structure, he just couldn't understand it maybe it was... hey what was that? That star off to the left, he didn't remember that one being there, oh it was a firefly. Wow seeing things through Lomes eyes was definitely different than he was used too, hey where was Malkate anyway... MMMM Malkate now there was a woman....

The Stars glittered in the velvet night, balance was slowly coming back into play now that the Temple of Darkness had been ultimately destroyed. The Roaring waves battering against Wynne's air shield were rhythmic soothing. To think they had inspired such terror mere moments earlier. She listened to the waves as she retreated fully into her own mind, the Arc of Life and Dreams pulsing in counterbeat to one another. She used Dreams to delve the minds of the Souls within her, Life to begin the work necessary to bring them back to the living.
The Pirate was easy enough, His body rose from its face down position and coughed up the water filling its lungs. Golden light suffused it healing all bruises, all scratches and wounds no matter how minor then went to work restoring him, all old wounds, anything that was even the slightest bit out of shape would be instantly corrected. The Man would awaken with not so much as a sniffle. When his body was perfectly restored she rose her hand slightly from where she was lying, his body rose into the Air slightly and a pulse of golden light burst forth from her, into his body. The soul returning to its home. The Salty dog would feel like a million bucks, at least for a little while anyway.
The other two were significantly more difficult, she had to delve their minds to get the image they held themselves in, even if it wasn't exactly what their bodies had looked like before it was essential that they were placed in a vessel familiar to their souls, If not then they would experience the same disorientation that Malkate was going through, though with changing her soul there was little to be done about it. She found delving into Daegan's mind was pleasant, even a relaxing experience, Shadows by nature were subdued compared to most elements, sure they had their dark side but in the by and by they were not difficult at all to sort through.
She skimmed through his mind taking bits and pieces of the Man's own self image, and began the painstaking process of putting it together into a full body image. Once the image of his body was complete within her ming the Arc of Life began to create it next to where she lay. Now she had to turn her attention to Lasius.
Entering his mind was like dodging bullets, the mans thoughts were absolutely everywhere, the utter chaos started a pain between her temples that built on itself and grew to migraine porportions within seconds. Trying to find anything in this mess would take years!
ENOUGH! Dammit Lasius you are giving me a Headache!
The Randomness ceased for a split second and she snatched the image of him she needed before retreating hastily from that chaotic madhouse that was the mind of the Lightning Childe. Why she put up with this she would never know. Spitefully she changed a small portion of Lasius' Self image and then set the Arc of Life to work on his body as well. It took several minutes for the bodies to be created, afterwards she used Magick to clothe them each as their owners envisioned and then took each soul placing it carefully in its respective body.
Time was not really a factor, but she was anxious to See Daegan again, the real Daegan, not just his soul. She closed her eyes and a brilliant golden pulse entered both newly made bodies. Their chests rose and fell, and slowly but surely their eyes opened.

Lasius sat up slowly fighting back a wave of dizziness. This body was different in ways from his old one, for one thing there were actually clothes on this one, he smirked in mock surprise, before glancing over at Lomes still and resting form. Next to her was a man he vaguely recognized as Daegan, though his face and build were slightly different. Apparently Lomes had taken a little artistic license in bringing them back from the dead. He shook his head ruefully rising to his feet but stopped suddenly his eyes widening.
His hand snatched up and grabbed a fist full of his now long hair. He must have seen wrong, he looked closely spreading the strands out across his fingers. No there it was, silvery gray hair... he had strands of gray hair, intermingled with the black.
“Is this some kind of joke?! Gray hair! You have some nerve!” He growled as he let go of his hair disgustedly.
“Well The Way I saw it was a man of your age and maturity ought to have a little something to mark him as one of the oldest living creatures in existence. Just be glad i didn't include wrinkles... oh wait is that an age spot there...?
Lasius' eyes widened and he slipped falling flat on his ass blinking in shock as he looked around frantically like a trapped animal.
“Relax Lasius I'm just kidding you don't have any age spots.”
Somehow he was far from relieved.
