The Captain went to speak as the events transpired around him, but found that the sudden teleportation of every one and the frantic happenings left him in sort of an awed state. He stood there with his jaw agape as Malkate came and the tiny Sedi in the cage was put to sleep. He starred as Lasius tried to soothe the crazed and apparently blinded Daegan.
“I… ah… uh…”
Words simply failed to form as the Captain continued to watch, wincing as the group flashed once more in and out of existence. He glanced down at the small sleeping Sedi on the War Room’s floor and a deep frown spread over his face, his eyebrows knitting together in frustration. He looked over to where Lasius, Daegan and Malkate had been standing and shook his head, once more resting most of his weight on the Arc of Water.
“Damnit. I don't WANT to baby sit.”

Dark gold trickled the soft pale pink flesh of the girl as her eyes slowly opened, a groggy feeling filling her mind as she slowly started to sit up. Her hand went to her head where she’d been hit and came away clean, but her entire body felt like it had been bruised and beaten. She turned, slowly putting her feet on the ground as her body protested even that small bodily movement, it sent chills up her feet and she flinched. Her gown was tattered now and dirty and she let out a heartfelt sigh. Her control over the winds she could barely feel – mostly as if her body had been entirely drained. Her eyes opened again and she realized with a start that she was in an unfamiliar place – but it felt as if she knew it somehow. Panic struck her heart and she rushed to stand, having to place her hand on the railing.
“Papa? Papa?! Oh no..”
Her footfalls were harsh as they slapped against the cold stone, sending chills up her spine as she moved through the halls – stopping when she saw one of the servants in the halls who stared with shock at her.
“Where is my father?”
”He’s in the war room miss, but—“
She didn’t stop to listen as she ran down the halls, earning a scowl from the servant who was trying to tell her that he wasn’t sure if the man was still there. She wasn’t quite sure of the way at all, it wasn’t as if even as a child she’d seen these areas. So every time she saw a face she’d, pantingly, ask them where the war room was, and start moving that way. It took her a few tries, and when she reached the room her entire body was a single throbbing pulse of pain, from her head to her toes – her golden hair disheveled like some kind of mythical wind sprite, as she stared into the room at the albino man there. She blinked a few times, surprised, and then at the white haired woman on the floor.
“Where is my father?”

His eyebrow shot into the air as he spun around, taking his eyes off the little sleeping Existence Sedi, only to find Wynne standing behind him. He blinked a few times, completely forgetting that Daegan’s daughter had even been in Sethia. A soft smile spread over his face for a second before it flashed away again.
“Well, to tell you the truth, I have absolutely no idea. The last thing I remember is waking up in this jitatin tower, stumbled down to find your father and that wretched Darkness Sedi locked in combat. The things went flashy flashy and I guess Daegan not only was blinded, but he started glowing.”
He frowned deeply again, his eyes going back to the Existence Sedi sleeping on the floor. The pirate still leaned on the Arc of Water, groaning slightly as he shifted his weight. He closed his eyes for a second, wondering why all of the noble inclinations had swept through him all of a sudden. He should have just stayed out to sea where he belonged. Another sigh wafted through the air as he turned his eyes back to Wynne.
“Then they all poofed like they love to do and left me here with this little… thing.”
Once more the pirate groan and he sort of hobbled, turning around to completely face Wynne. He then started walking towards her, and eventually past her, into the corridors outside of the War Room.
“And I certainly don’t intend to be around her when she wakes up. Nasty little wench that one.”
